sorry for my poor English. ;-(
My equipments for shooting the shooting stars
(The gamma of MS Windows is invalid. So correct the gamma of your PC
same as Mac, SUN, SGI.)
- left
- avoid mosquitoes spray
- middle(red)
- cable release
- right up
- camera(Vixen VX-2,a cheap PENTAX K-mount compatible)
- lens(SIGMA 28mmF1.8II ASPHERICAL)
- (blue)tennis wrist band
- right down
- pocket heater
- other
- heavy tripod
To avoid night dew, I bind the pocket heater to the lens with
tennis wrist band. Of course, don't forget to check the pint(infinity)
and the iris.
Major shooting stars are:
- Perseids
- 8/12-8/13
- Leonids
- 11/17-11/18
I shoot them by ISO800 film, iris F2.8, exposure 10-30 minutes.
It is inportant to record accurate time of start/stop exposure.
Good luck! And enjoy with eyeball watching. :-)
