My equipments for shooting the shooting stars

(The gamma of MS Windows is invalid. So correct the gamma of your PC same as Mac, SUN, SGI.)

left: avoid mosquitoes spray
middle(red): cable release
right up: camera(Vixen VX-2,a cheap PENTAX K-mount compatible); lens(SIGMA 28mmF1.8II ASPHERICAL); (blue)tennis wrist band
right down: pocket heater
other: heavy tripod

To avoid night dew, I bind the pocket heater to the lens with tennis wrist band. Of course, don't forget to check the pint(infinity) and the iris.

Major shooting stars are:

I shoot them by ISO800 film, iris F2.8, exposure 10-30 minutes. It is inportant to record accurate time of start/stop exposure.
