My equipments for shooting the shooting stars

My equipments
(The gamma of MS Windows is invalid. So correct the gamma of your PC same as Mac, SUN, SGI.)
left
avoid mosquitoes spray
middle(red)
cable release
right up
camera(Vixen VX-2,a cheap PENTAX K-mount compatible)
lens(SIGMA 28mmF1.8II ASPHERICAL)
(blue)tennis wrist band
right down
pocket heater
other
heavy tripod
To avoid night dew, I bind the pocket heater to the lens with tennis wrist band. Of course, don't forget to check the pint(infinity) and the iris.

Major shooting stars are:

Perseids
8/12-8/13
Leonids
11/17-11/18

I shoot them by ISO800 film, iris F2.8, exposure 10-30 minutes. It is inportant to record accurate time of start/stop exposure.

Good luck! And enjoy with eyeball watching. :-)
